American Idol Season Seven

The popular show finally ended after a long nineteen weeks, and there was no surprise as David Cook took the title after a showdown with David Archuleta in the final.
The show continues to create a lot of controversy as like in the past few season, with many big surprise eliminations, people like Asia’h Epperson, Carly Smithson, Michael Johns and others.
Although David Cook fully deserved to win, there might be a much closer contest if some talented idols got the chance to stand beside him. Extensively discussion of eliminated idols in various forums and the steep declines of this season TV ratings point to the fact that there might be a need to revamp the voting system or it may further lost the support of viewers.
Will there be any changes for next season?
